Lifetime Members

Work hard for at least 20 years, reach the ripe old age of 55, be a member of Baptist Communicators Association, and retire with an exemplary record and what do you get?

Well, just maybe you get to be a lifetime member of BCA. Isn't that what you've been working for your whole life? Lifetime members enjoy the benefit of not having to pay their annual dues and the continued relationship with friends and colleagues in the communication field. BCA values those who have contributed so much to their profession, and it is a pleasure to honor them with lifetime membership status.

Current Lifetime members are: Bill Junker, Charles Richardson, Charles Willis, Dan Martin, Don Rutledge, Gomer Lesch, Jay Durham, Farrell Blankenship, Jim Newton, John Bloskas, Leonard Hill, Linda Lawson, Lloyd Householder, Lynn Clayton, Orville Scott, Oscar Hoffmeyer, Richard McCartney, Robert O'Brien, Tom Brannon, Wilmer C. Fields, Robert Duck, Roy Jennings, John Roberts, John Seelig, Robert Stanley and Evelyn Strickland.

At this year's annual workshop in Nashville, BCA will nominate Jack E. Brymer Sr., retired editor/manager of the Florida Baptist Witness, and Dan Euliss, retired director promotion for the North American Mission Board. But we're sure there are other prospective Lifetime members to acknowledge. Join us in the quest to honor those persons who fit the criteria and should be honored in this manner.

Please send in the names of those you would like to nominate for BCA lifetime membership to Baptist Communicators Association, c/o Margaret M. Dempsey, 1519 Menlo Drive, Kennesaw, GA 30152, or e-mail her at mmdempsey1@bellsouth.net Requirements are: Reached retirement; at least 55 years old; have 20 total years of service in Baptist communications; have given significant service to the Association and/ profession.
