Position Summary:

Hickory Grove Baptist Church is searching for a full-time Creative Video Producer/Editor with 5-7 years experience in creative video production. This role functions as videographer, producer, and editor taking a project from concept to delivery. Help us tell the stories of how God is using the people of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and Hickory Grove Christian School to share the hope of the Gospel to Charlotte, North Carolina, and throughout the world through engaging videos.

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

  • A growing and personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience with at least five years in a video production position
  • Strong portfolio of video projects from concept to completion
  • Be self-motivated and energized with the entire process of visual-story telling from concept through execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in script writing and storytelling
  • Organized with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and a desire for excellence
  • Competence in audio, lighting, shooting, and editing, consistent with industry standards
  • Experience with DSLR cameras and Canon C100s
  • Five years experience editing in Adobe Premiere and After Effects
  • Ability to create original graphics  Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator knowledge is a plus
  • Possess a strong knowledge of Mac OS and general networking and connectivity
  • Build and manage a team of video staff to carry out ministry needs
  • Be able to encourage, and be a contributor in, creative/conceptual meetings
  • Must be physically able to carry out the duties of the workload as described above

    Purpose: To enhance the work of the Division of Communication Arts by teaching courses related to news gathering, media production, videography, and/or social media platforms; collaborating with colleagues and students to produce high-quality stories in print and electronic formats; contributing to the development and implementation of associated curricula; recruiting talented students for pursuit of related degrees; and promoting the work and mission of Oklahoma Baptist University.

    Essential Functions:

  • Teach undergraduate courses related to Journalism and Mass Media.
  • Foster mutually beneficial relationships with Athletics, Creative Communications and other university entities to provide appropriate on-campus, educational opportunities for Journalism and Mass Media students.
  • Work with area high school teachers and church leaders to identify and recruit students who desire jobs in areas such as Sports Broadcasting, Church Media, or Storytelling.

    The Sr. Manager Digital Marketing is responsible for managing a team of 4 people in developing, implementing, and managing the overall digital marketing strategies which promote the company and its products and/or services.   • Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website.
  • Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns
  • Utilizing a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC.
  • Overseeing the social media strategy for the company.
  • Managing online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness.
  • Managing the redesign of the company websites and client-facing applications. Improving the usability, design, content and conversion of the company website.
  • Responsibility for planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing.
  • Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data.
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
  • Drive development of UI/UX standards across the organization.

    Requirements

  • At least 5-7 years of marketing experience with 3-5 years of management experience.
  • Excellent project manager.
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice.
  • Experience in ecommerce, SEO, PPC, Email marketing, and social media.
  • Strategic thinker and hands-on executor.
  • Experience managing campaign execution across multiple channels.
  • Driven by metrics.
